Reconstitution: Dissolve the lyophilized protein in distilled water. It is recommended to resuspend at 0.5 mg/mL if the lyophilized powder is 100 μg or less, at 1 mg/mL for 500 μg or 1 mg lyophilized powder. Do not mix by vortex or vigorous shaking.

Buffer: Lyophilized from 0.22 μm filtered solution in PBS ( pH 7.4). Normally 8 % trehalose is added as protectant before lyophilization.

Sujet: CD72 (originally Lyb-2), a 45 kDa type II transmembrane glycoprotein. CD72 belongs to the calcium-dependent C-type lectin superfamily and shares sequence homology with CD23 (the B-cell-specific low-affinity Fc receptor for IgE) and the asialoglycoprotein receptors. It is expressed as a disulfide-linked homodimer from the pro-B through the mature B-cell stage, but it is downregulated on terminally differentiated plasma cells.

Poids moléculaire: 29.17 kDa. Due to glycosylation, the protein migrates to 32-40 kDa based on Bis-Tris PAGE result.
