ELISA: 1: 5000 - 1: 25000. Western Blot: 1: 500 - 1: 2500, detects a band of approximately 90 kDa. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
WARNING: Reagents contain sodium azide. Sodium azide is very toxic if ingested or inhaled. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, or clothing. Wear eye or face protection when handling. If skin or eye contact occurs, wash with copious amounts of water. If ingested or inhaled, contact a physician immediately. Sodium azide yields toxic hydrazoic acid under acidic conditions. Dilute azide-containing compounds in running water before discarding to avoid accumulation of potentially explosive deposits in lead or copper plumbing.

Sujet
HSP90a is one of two HSP90 isoforms together with HSP90b. These isoforms are encoded by different genes and under normal conditions assist the folding of newly synthesised proteins, and are also important in cellular processes such as hormone signalling and cell cycle control. In response to mutation or environmental stress, HSP90 expression is upregulated as part of the heat shock response, and function to maintain newly destabilised proteins in a folding competent state. HSP90 can also affect the epigenetic state at specific loci, leading to phenotype modulation. Induction of HSP90a by c-Myc may control the activity of multiple signal pathways involved in cellular transformation.Synonyms: HSP86, HSP90A, HSPC1, HSPCA, Heat shock 86 kDa, Heat shock protein HSP 90-alpha, NY-REN-38
