Mouse (Murine) alpha-Fetoprotein (AFP) interaction partners

  1. endogenous AFP expression in the perinatal liver is reduced in the absence of beta-catenin (Montrer CTNNB1 Kits ELISA), suggesting that beta-catenin (Montrer CTNNB1 Kits ELISA) regulates AFP during liver development.

  2. Findings indicate that AFP expressed under experimental cryptorchid conditions plays a role as a regulatory factor in spermatogenesis and in hepatic generation.

  3. AFP mRNA and VEGF-C (Montrer VEGFC Kits ELISA) mRNA in peripheral blood were significantly correlated with recurrence and metastasis of hepatocellular carcinoma.

  4. A DEHP treatment-induced phenotype was identified with lack of glycogen (Montrer GYS1 Kits ELISA) accumula-tion and intracytoplasmic localization of beta-catenin (Montrer CTNNB1 Kits ELISA) which was associated with increased AFP gene expression.

  5. The deficits observed in parental behavior of AFP knockout females could not be explained by any changes in olfactory function, novelty recognition or anxiety

  6. Foxa1 (Montrer FOXA1 Kits ELISA) acts as a pioneer transcription factor in de novo activation of Afp, by exploiting a lack of methylation at juxtaposed transposed elements

  7. The level of AFP mRNA in peripheral blood may indicate recurrence and/or metastasis after curative resection of hepatocellular carcinoma.

  8. AFP affects cell proliferation by binding its receptor to trigger the signal transduction pathway of cAMP-PKA and alter the expression of K- ras (Montrer HRAS Kits ELISA) p21 genes

  9. A murine Nkx2.8 was isolated from the Hepal-6 cell line and showed oligonucleotide binding competitive with fetoprotein transcription factor (Montrer NR5A2 Kits ELISA).

  10. The mouse alpha-fetoprotein promoter is repressed in HepG2 hepatoma cells by hepatocyte nuclear factor-3 (Montrer FOXA1 Kits ELISA)

Human alpha-Fetoprotein (AFP) interaction partners

  1. We could demonstrate in our cohort the superior detection of early stage HCC (Montrer FAM126A Kits ELISA) with the combined use of the respective biomarkers and in particular GALAD even in AFP-negative tumors.

  2. A correlation was found between serum AFP concentration and age in extremely low-birthweight infants (ELBWI), and the 95%CI of serum AFP concentration was determined for ELBWI up to 2 years after birth.

  3. rAFP promoted growth of the human HCC (Montrer FAM126A Kits ELISA) cells, antagonize paclitaxel inhibition of HCC (Montrer FAM126A Kits ELISA) cell proliferation, suppress expression of active caspase-3 (Montrer CASP3 Kits ELISA), and promote expression of Ras and survivin (Montrer BIRC5 Kits ELISA).

  4. Measurements of serum alpha-fetoprotein (AFP) levels could be helpful in detecting progression or recurrence in treated patients with hepatitis B virus (HBV) - hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC (Montrer FAM126A Kits ELISA)) and normal alanine aminotransferase (Montrer ALT Kits ELISA) (ALT).

  5. AFP mRNA level is in enriched circulating tumor cells from patients with metastatic hepatocellular carcinoma.

  6. High serum AFP levels were significantly associated with the prevalence of metabolic syndrome in a Chinese asymptomatic population.

  7. Contrary to expectation, Chronic Hepatitis B patients with current or recent exposure to NA therapy showed poorer performance of AFP during hepatocellular carcinoma surveillance

  8. Protein induced by vitamin K absence or antagonist-II showed higher area under the curve than alpha-fetoprotein for diagnosis of hepatitis B virus-related hepatocellular carcinoma patients (0.901 vs 0.788).We conclude that Combining alpha-fetoprotein and protein induced by vitamin K absence or antagonist-II may improve the diagnostic value for early detection of hepatocellular carcinoma.

  9. AFP expression turned on prior to expression of Oct4 (Montrer POU5F1 Kits ELISA), Klf4 (Montrer KLF4 Kits ELISA), Sox2 (Montrer SOX2 Kits ELISA) and c-myc (Montrer MYC Kits ELISA), and the stemness markers CD44 (Montrer CD44 Kits ELISA), CD133 and EpCAM (Montrer EPCAM Kits ELISA) in the normal human liver L-02 cell line or CHL (Montrer CHRDL1 Kits ELISA) cell lines upon transfection with MCV-HBx vectors. HBx stimulates AFP expression to induce natural reprogramming of liver cells, and AFP plays a critical role in promoting the initiation of HCC (Montrer FAM126A Kits ELISA) progenitor/stem cells.

  10. analysis of alpha-fetoprotein producing early gastric cancer with enteroblastic differentiation

Horse (Equine) alpha-Fetoprotein (AFP) interaction partners

  1. Equine alpha-fetoprotein seems to be an important indicator of fetal well-being in horses.

  2. This study confirmed that alpha-fetoprotein (AFP) is present in the fetal fluids of mares during the third trimester of pregnancy; experimentally induced placentitis was associated with an elevation in maternal plasma concentrations of AFP.

alpha Fetoprotein (AFP) profil antigène

Antigen Summary

This gene encodes alpha-fetoprotein, a major plasma protein produced by the yolk sac and the liver during fetal life. Alpha-fetoprotein expression in adults is often associated with hepatoma or teratoma. However, hereditary persistance of alpha-fetoprotein may also be found in individuals with no obvious pathology. The protein is thought to be the fetal counterpart of serum albumin, and the alpha-fetoprotein and albumin genes are present in tandem in the same transcriptional orientation on chromosome 4. Alpha-fetoprotein is found in monomeric as well as dimeric and trimeric forms, and binds copper, nickel, fatty acids and bilirubin. The level of alpha-fetoprotein in amniotic fluid is used to measure renal loss of protein to screen for spina bifida and anencephaly.
