TNF/Lymphotoxin alpha/beta deficiency influences PM2.5 exposure-induced response of energy metabolism through alterations in both food intake and energy expenditure.
Expression of LT alpha and beta on acinar cells in mice led to chronic pancreatitis and sufficed to reproduce key features of human autoimmune pancreatitis including the development of autoimmunity and AIP (Montrer AIP Anticorps) associated secondary extra pancreatic pathologies.
These data demonstrate that lymphotoxin (Montrer LTB Anticorps)-expressing cells, such as Th1 (Montrer HAND1 Anticorps) cells, mediate stromal keratitis.
TNFalpha (Montrer TNF Anticorps) and LTalpha mediate post-myocardial infarction cardiac dysfunction via TNFR1 (Montrer TNFRSF1A Anticorps) stimulation, whereas TNFR2 (Montrer TNFRSF1B Anticorps) activation is cardioprotective against ischemic injury.
findings show that soluble lymphotoxin alpha (sLTalpha3) produced by RORgammat(+) innate lymphoid cells controls T cell-dependent IgA induction in the lamina propria via regulation of T cell homing to the gut (Montrer GUSB Anticorps)
Data suggest that among many cytokines increased after myocardial ischemia/reperfusion (MI/R), lymphotoxin-alpha (Lta) is the only cytokine remaining elevated 24-72 h after reperfusion; LTa appears to suppress adiponectin expression following MI/R.
study reports that mice deficient in lymphotoxin (Montrer LTB Anticorps), a key molecule in gut (Montrer GUSB Anticorps) immunity, were resistant to diet-induced obesity
Data from lymphotoxin-alpha knockout mice suggest that lymphotoxin-alpha contributes to diet-induced weight gain and adiposity (leading to obesity) and is required to modulate accumulation of immune cells in adipose tissue (as in obesity).
Grafts deficient in lymphotoxin-alpha have an attenuated capacity to induce graft-versus-host disease.
Our findings suggest a contribution of lymphotoxin alpha in the control of chronic M. tuberculosis infection.
Fequencies of polymorphic allele and genotypes for the lymphotoxin-alpha gene, position +252 (rs909253), in Brazilian women with preeclampsia
The allelic frequencies of LTA SNPs were found to be significantly associated with the risk of oral cancer and precancerous lesions
rs909253 in LTA was identified to be significantly associated with ankylosing spondylitis susceptibility in this study population, but no significant association was found between ankylosing spondylitis risk and LTA rs2239704 or rs2229094
study showed that heterozygous variant (AG) genotype of TNF-beta was associated with persistent primary immune thrombocytopenia, when compared with controls
a positive correlation of HLA-DRB1*12 and a negative correlation of HLA-DRB1*13 with younger patientsTNFb4 allele's negative association with older patients displaying higher PSA levels, higher GS and positive surrounding tissue involvement; positive association of TNFb5 allele for both older and younger patients
the present study suggests LTa +252G as a risk alleles for disease susceptibility associated with higher serum levels of LTa and concomitant discrete clinical features among Indian systemic lupus erythematosus patients in India
this study shows that TNF (Montrer TNF Anticorps)-b is elevated in wound exudates of patients with hidradenitis suppurativa
LTA -804C/A gene polymorphism is not found to be associated with the susceptibility of ischemic stroke in both Asian as well as in Caucasian population.
After multivariable analysis TNF-alpha (Montrer TNF Anticorps) polymorphism showed no consistent association with leukemia. CONCLUSIONS: This meta-analysis suggests that the LT-alpha +252 AA polymorphism is associated with the risk of leukemia
Tumor Necrosis Factor (Montrer TNF Anticorps) and Lymphotoxin (Montrer LTB Anticorps) in Regulation of Intestinal Inflammation.
The encoded protein, a member of the tumor necrosis factor family, is a cytokine produced by lymphocytes. The protein is highly inducible, secreted, and forms heterotrimers with lymphotoxin-beta which anchor lymphotoxin-alpha to the cell surface. This protein also mediates a large variety of inflammatory, immunostimulatory, and antiviral responses, is involved in the formation of secondary lymphoid organs during development and plays a role in apoptosis. Genetic variations in this gene are associated with susceptibility to leprosy type 4, myocardial infarction, non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, and psoriatic arthritis. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been observed for this gene.
