Indications d'application: Recommended dilutions:
ELISA: 1/200 - 1/1000 (using secondary ABIN547379).
Flow Cyt: Use at an assay dependant dilution.
IHC-Fr: 1/200 for staining of intracellular IL-1a.
Neut: 1/100. Incubate the sample with the antibody for at least 4 hours before testing. A contrl of similarly diluted normal rabbit IgG is recommended.
WB: 1/100 - 1/200 (using goat anti-rabbit (HRP) ABIN547379). Detects a band of approximately 17 kDa (mature) form as well as the 31 kDa (precursor) form in either non-denatured (native) or denatured samples.

Background: Produced by activated macrophages, IL-1 stimulates thymocyte proliferation by inducing IL-2 release, B-cell maturation and proliferation, and fibroblast growth factor activity. IL-1 proteins are involved in the inflammatory response, being identified as endogenous pyrogens, and are reported to stimulate the release of prostaglandin and collagenase from synovial cells.
