Indications d'application
-
Neutralization: To yield one-half maximal inhibition [ND50] of the biological activity of mMCP-5 (100.00 ng/mL), a concentration of 2.0-3.0 μg/mL of this antibody is required. ELISA: To detect mMCP-5 by direct ELISA (using 100 l/well antibody solution) a concentration ofat least 0.5 μg/mL of this antibody is required. This antigen affinity purified antibody, inconjunction with compatible secondary reagents, allows the detection of 0.2-0.4 ng/wellof recombinant mMCP-5. Western Blot: To detect mMCP-5 by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of0.1-0.2 μg/mL. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limitfor recombinant mMCP-5 is 1.5-3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducingconditions.
Other applications not tested.

Sujet
- MCP-5 is a member of the b-chemokine family (C-C) of cytokines. This chemokine is strongly chemotactic for human monocytes and murine peritoneal macrophages, but is not active on mouse neutrophils and shows only a weak response on mouse eosinophils at high concentrations.Synonyms: C-C motif chemokine 12. Macrophage Chemotactic Protein-5, CCL-12, MCP-1-related chemokine, MCP5, Monocyte chemoattractant protein 5, Monocyte chemotactic protein 5, Small-inducible cytokine A12
