Sujet
- HSF1 is a key regulator of the stress response. It becomes hyperphosphorylated following heat shock (results in the shifting of the HSF1 protein to slightly higher MW) and HSF1 protein rapidly accumulates during heat stress. HSF1 appears to be constitutively present as high molecular weight complexes, presumably trimers. It also interacts with cytosolic HSP70A.
