Specificité: Recognizes the human estrogen receptor at ~65kD and ~55kD believed to be the major proteolytic fragment of the estrogen receptor alpha protein. The antibody also recognizes native estrogen receptor in both the inactive 8S oligomeric state, when activated to 4S and whether unbound or bound to ligand. Species cross-reactivity: mouse, rat and hamster.

Usage: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Gel Mobility Shift Assay, Immunoprecipitation, Immunohistochemistry and Immunocytochemistry. Western Blot (ECL): 2 μg/mL. Gel Mobility Shift Assay: 20 μg/reaction. Immunoprecipitation: 20 μg/100 μL beads. We recommend that protein A Sepharose be used as immunoabsorbant with a bridging rabbit anti-mouse IgG to ensure efficient binding of the antibody.
