Application
-
-
Specificité
- The antibody recognizes Glyoxalase from Yeast. The reagents were evaluated for potency, purity and specificity using most or all of the following techniques: Immunoelectrophoresis, Cross-Immunoelectrophoresis, Single Radial Immunodiffusion (Ouchterlony), block titration, ELISA, Immunoblotting and enzyme inhibition. Cross-reactivities against enzymes of other sources may occur but have not been determined.
-

Sujet
- The enzyme encoded by GLO1 is responsible for the catalysis and formation of S-lactoyl-glutathione from methylglyoxal condensation and reduced glutatione. GLO is linked to HLA and is localized to 6p21.3-p21.1, between HLA and the centromere.Synonyms: Aldoketomutase, Glx I, Ketone-aldehyde mutase, Methylglyoxalase, S-D-lactoylglutathione methylglyoxal lyase
