- Recognizes mouse Lipin 1. Species sequence Homology: rat (93 % ), human and chimpanzee (81 %), chicken (75 %). Epitope is around 120aa region that is well before the truncation site for isoform 1, therefore epitope is present in both isoforms 1 and 2. No significant sequence homology seen with Lipin-2, Lipin-3 or other proteins.

Approved: ELISA (0.5 - 1 μg/mL), IF, WB (1 - 10 μg/mL)
Usage: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Western Blot: 1-10 μg/mL using ECL. Will recognize ~140kD mouse Lipin-1 under non-reducing conditions. It is not clear if isoform 2 is also recognized with this antibody. ELISA: 0.5-1 μg/mL. Control peptide can be used to coat ELISA plates at 1 μg/mL. -
