Attributs du produit
- Argonaute 4 (Ago4, aka EIF2C4) is a member of the Argonaute family of proteins involved in RNAi mediated gene silencing through siRNA and miRNA effectors. The Argonaute proteins are part of RISC, the RNAi Induced Silencing Complex. Ago4 lacks RNase activity and does not appear to cleave target mRNA molecules. It binds to microRNAs (miRNAs) and represses the translation of mRNAs which are complementary to them. Ago4 has both a PAZ and a PIWI domain, indicative of the Argonaute family of proteins. Ago4 antibody (mAb) (Clone 1B7-G11) was raised in a Mouse host. It has been validated for use in Immunoprecipitation and Western blot, it has been shown to react with Human samples.
