Indications d'application: In vitro, this antibody has inhibitory effects on IL-9 bioactivity, and inhibits the differentiation of Th17 cells and consequent production of IL-17 (Li et al, 2010). This antibody is also able to neutralise IL-9 in vivo (Li et al, 2010). Administration of this antibody suppresses acute experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis (EAE), with an observed reduction in MOG-specific Th1 and Th17 cells in the periphery and the CNS (Li et al, 2010).

This chimeric rabbit antibody was made using the variable domain sequences of the original Hamster IgG2 format, for improved compatibility with existing reagents, assays and techniques.
