Immunogène: Chickens were immunized with HHHHHH conjugated with KLH (6xHIS) Eggs were collected and the Ig fraction prepared. Antibodies were solid phase adsorbed before immunoaffinity purified using the peptide immobilized on a solid phase matrix then conjugated with fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC). Antibody concentration was determined using an absorbance at 280 nm: 1.32 equals 1.0 mg of IgY. FITC/Protein Ratio = 3.0 - 6.0.
