Sujet: Background: NEDD4L (neural precursor cell expressed, developmentally down-regulated 4-like) functions as an E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase. NEDD4L inhibits TGF-beta signaling by triggering SMAD2 and TGFR1 ubiquitination and proteasome-dependent degradation.
