WB: Not recommended. A301-914A has not performed satisfactorily when used for WB of NELFE in crude preparations (e.g. whole cell lysate). This antibody can be used for WB of enriched (e.g. immunoprecipitated) sources of NELFE.

Sujet: Background: NELFE (negative elongation factor E) is one of four subunits that make up the NELF transcription elongation factor. The four subunits of NELF are NELF A (WHSC2), NELFB, either NELFC or NELFD, and NELFE. NELF, along with DRB sensitivity-inducing factor (DSIF), functions to cause transcriptional pausing of RNA polymerase II. NELF-E is an RNA-binding protein. The RNA binding activity of NELF-E is critical to the function of NELF.
