Sujet: C-Myb is a transcription factor that plays a critical role in the regulation of gene expression during the development and maintenance of hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells. In zebrafish, c-Myb is essential for the formation of definitive blood cells and is widely used as a marker of early hematopoiesis.

During zebrafish embryogenesis, c-Myb is expressed in the dorsal aorta, where hematopoietic stem cells first emerge, as well as in the developing thymus and other hematopoietic tissues.
