Sujet
- Neuroleukin or GPI (Glucose-6-phosphate isomerase) is a neurotrophic factor for spinal and sensory neurons. GPI (Glucose-6-phosphate isomerase)is involved in glycolysis and in gluconeogenesis. Defects in GPI are a cause of hereditary nonspherocytic hemolytic anemia (HA). Severe GPI deficiency can be associated with hydrops fetalis, immediate neonatal death and neurological impairment.
