Indications d'application: Useful in Sandwich ELISA for Quantitative Detection of Antigen. Aliquot 0.1 mL per well of the 2000pg/mL,1000pg/mL, 500pg/mL, 250pg/mL, 125pg/mL, 62.5pg/mL, 31.2pg/mL mouse Oncostatin M standard solutions into the precoated 96-well plate. Add 0.1 mL of the sample diluent buffer into the control well (Zero well). Add 0.1 mL of each properly diluted sample of mouse cell culture supernates, serum or plasma(heparin, EDTA) to each empty well. It is recommended that each mouse Oncostatin M standard solution and each sample be measured in duplicate.

Background: OSM(Oncostatin M) is a protein that in humans is encoded by the OSM gene. OSM is a pleiotropic cytokine that belongs to the interleukin 6 group of cytokines. The OSM gene is mapped on 22q12.2. Of these cytokines it most closely resembles leukemia inhibitory factor(LIF) in both structure and function. Treatment with recombinant OSM leads to the inhibition of proliferation and changes in cellular morphology of a number of tumor cell lines derived from a wide variety of tissue types. OSM signals through cell surface receptors that contain the protein gp130. The type I receptor is composed of gp130 and LIFR, the type II receptor is composed of gp130 and OSMR.
