Application
-
-
Épitope
- pThr161
-
Specificité
- The antibody detects endogenous level of CDC2 only when phosphorylated at threonine 161.
-
Purification
- The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific phosphopeptide. The antibody against non-phosphopeptide was removed by chromatogramphy using non-phosphopeptide corresponding to the phosphorrylation site.
-
Immunogène
- Peptide sequence around phosphorylation site of pThr161 (T-Y-T (p) -H-E) derived from Human CDC2. Antibodies were produced by immunizing rabbits with synthetic phosphopeptide and KLH conjugates.
-

Sujet
- Plays a key role in the control of the eukaryotic cell cycle. It is required in higher cells for entry into S-phase and mitosis. p34 is a component of the kinase complex that phosphorylates the repetitive C-terminus of RNA polymerase II.
