Specificité: The CD33 antibody is valuable for distinguishing acute myeloid from lymphoblastic leukaemias. CD33 is expressed on monocytes in peripheral blood. In the bone marrow, CD33 antigen is found on granulocyte and macrophage precursors, and is absent from pluripotent stem cells.
