Indications d'application: Neutralisation: To yield one-half maximal inhibition [ND50]of the biological activity of hKGF(25 ng/mL), a concentration of 0.56-0.85 μg/mL of this antibody has been used for previouslots. ELISA: To detect hKGF by direct ELISA (using 100 l/well antibody solution) a concentrationof at least 0.5g/mL of this antibody is required. This antigen affinity purified antibody, inconjunction with compatible secondary reagents, allows the detection of 0.2 - 0.4 ng/wellof recombinant hKGF. Western blot: To detect hKGF by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at aconcentration of 0.1 - 0.2 μg/mL. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagentsthe detection limit for recombinant hKGF is 1.5 - 3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing ornon-reducing conditions.
Other applications not tested.
Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.

Sujet: KGF is a member of the fibroblast growth factor (FGF) family. FGF family members possess broad mitogenic and cell survival activities, and are involved in a variety of biological processes, including embryonic development, cell growth, morphogenesis, tissue repair, tumor growth and invasion. This protein is a potent epithelial cell specific growth factor, whose mitogenic activity is predominantly exhibited in keratinocytes but not in fibroblasts and endothelial cells.
