ELISA: Direct: To detect FGF-4 by direct ELISA (using 100 μL/well antibody solution) aconcentration of 0.25 - 1.0 μg/mL is required. In conjunction with compatible secondaryreagents, it allows the detection of at least 0.2 - 0.4 ng/well of recombinant FGF-4. Western Blot: To detect FGF-4 by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at aconcentration of 0.1 - 0.2 μg/mL. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagentsthe detection limit for recombinant FGF-4 is 1.5 - 3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing ornon-reducing conditions.
Other applications not tested.
Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user. -

Sujet
- FGF4 is a heparin binding growth factor that is a member of the FGF family. Proteins of this family play a central role during prenatal development and postnatal growth and regeneration of a variety of tissues, by promoting cellular proliferation and differentiation. FGF4 signals through the FGFR 1c, 2c, 3c, and 4.Synonyms: Fibroblast growth factor 4, HST, HST-1, HSTF1, Heparin secretory-transforming protein, Heparin-binding growth factor 4, KS3, Transforming protein KS3
