ELISA Detection: Biotinylated Monoclonal antibody ABIN371617 is the preferreddetection antibody in a Sandwich ELISA for quantifying human GM-CSF protein levels. (Ref.1-4). It should be paired with purified withpurified recombinant human GM-CSF as the standard. Immunofluorescence/Flow Cytometry: This antibody is useful for Intracytoplasmic stainingand Flow Cytometric analysis to identify and enumerate GM-CSF-positive cells within mixedcell populations. Recombinant human GM-CSF (Cat#ABIN371618 should be used as a Specificity Control.

Sujet
- GM-CSF is a hematopoietic growth factor that stimulates the development of neutrophils and macrophages and promotes the proliferation and development of early erythroid megakaryocytic and eosinophilic progenitor cells. It is produced in by endothelial cells, monocytes, fibroblasts and T-lymphocytes. GM-CSF inhibits neutrophil migration and enhances the functional activity of the mature end-cells. The human and murine molecules are species-specific and exhibit no cross-species reactivity.Synonyms: CSF2, Colony stimulating factor 2, GMCSF, Granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor, Molgramostin, Sargramostim
