Purification: This IgG1k antibody was purified from ascites fluid followed by Protein A affinity chromatography.

Immunogène: The monoclonal antibody was produced in BALB/c X ICR F1 mice using recombinant human IL-11 as the immunizing antigen.

Indications d'application: Neutralization:
To yield one-half maximal inhibition [ND50] of the biological activity of human IL-11 (5.0 ng/mL), a concentration of 2.4 - 3.6 μ,g/mL of this antibody is required.

ELISA:

In a sandwich ELISA (assuming 100 μ,L/well), a concentration of 8-9 μ,g/mL of this antibody will detect at least 0.2 ng/well of recombinant human IL-11 when used with our biotinylated antigen affinity purified anti-human IL-11(XP-5164Bt) as the detection antibody at a concentration of at least 2 μ,g/mL.

Western blot:

To detect hIL-11 by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 1.0-2.0 μ,g/mL. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for recombinant hIL-11 is 0.25-0.50 ng/lane, under non-reducing conditions.

Stockage commentaire: IL-11 lyophilized antibody is stable at room temperature for at least one month and for greater than a year when kept at -20°C. Reconstitute in sterile water to a concentration of 0.1 - 1.0 mg/mL. The antibody is stable for at least six weeks at 2-4°C when reconstituted.
