ELISA:
To detect hKGF by direct ELISA (using 100 μ,L/well antibody solution) this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.15 - 0.30 μ,g/mL. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents, allows the detection of at least 0.2 ng/well of recombinant hKGF.
Sandwich:
To detect hKGF by sandwich ELISA (using 100 μ,L/well antibody solution) a concentration of 0.25 - 1.0 μ,g/mL of this antibody is required. This biotinylated polyclonal antibody, in conjunction with our Polyclonal Anti-Human KGF (XP-5208) as a capture antibody, allows the detection of at least 0.2 - 0.4 ng/well of recombinant hKGF.
Western Blot:
To detect hKGF by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1 - 0.2 μ,g/mL. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for recombinant hKGF is 1.5 - 3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions. -

Sujet
- KGF is a member of the fibroblast growth factor (FGF) family. FGF family members possess broad mitogenic and cell survival activities, and are involved in a variety of biological processes, including embryonic development, cell growth, morphogenesis, tissue repair, tumor growth and invasion. This protein is a potent epithelial cell specific growth factor, whose mitogenic activity is predominantly exhibited in keratinocytes but not in fibroblasts and endothelial cells.
