Épitope: AA 100-300

Specificité: This MAb recognizes a protein of 145 kDa, identified as CD117/p145kit. It is found on a wide variety of tumor cells including follicular and papillary carcinoma of thyroid, adenocarcinomas from endometrium, lung, ovary, pancreas, and breast as well as malignant melanoma, endodermal sinus tumor, and small cell carcinoma. However, anti-CD117 has been particularly useful in differentiating gastrointestinal stromal tumors from Kaposi's sarcoma, tumors of smooth muscle origin, fibromatosis, and neural tumors of the GI tract. Anti-CD117 is also useful in recognizing myeloblasts in bone marrow biopsy and clot section.

Purification: Purified by Protein A/G

Immunogène: Recombinant fragment (around aa100-300) of human CD117 protein (exact sequence is proprietary)

Indications d'application:

Positive Control: Esophagus, Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumor (GIST) or testicular germ cell tumor. Melanocytes in the basal layer of the epidermis and mast cells in the dermis of normal skin.

Known Application: Western Blot (0.5-1.0 μg/mL for 2 hours at RT),Optimal dilution for a specific application should be determined.
