- Sujet
- Betaine homocysteine methyltransferase (BHMT), is a cytosolic enzyme, its partial fragments were discovered as autolysosomal membrane proteins from rat liver in the presence of leupeptin. BHMT was also found in human liver. BHMT transfers a methyl group from betaine to homocysteine to form DMG (dimethylglycine) and Met. In vivo, liver BHMT expression is influenced by dietary changes in sulphur amino acids, choline and betaine. Synonyms: Monoclonal BHMT antibody, Anti-BHMT antibody, BHMT antibody, BHMT (betaine-homocysteine methyltransferase) antibody, EC 2.1.1.5 antibody, betaine--homocysteine S-methyltransferase 1 antibody, betaine-homocysteine methyltransferase betaine homocysteine methyltransferase antibody, betaine homocysteine S methyltransferase antibody, betaine homocysteine S methyltransferase 1 antibody, BHMT1 antibody.
