Indications d'application: Useful in Sandwich ELISA for Quantitative Detection of Antigen. Aliquot 0.1 mL per well of the 10,000pg/mL, 5000pg/mL, 2500pg/mL, 1250pg/mL, 625pg/mL, 312pg/mL, 156pg/mL human Mesothelin standard solutions into the precoated 96-well plate. Add 0.1 mL of the sample diluent buffer into the control well (Zero well). Add 0.1 mL of each properly diluted sample of human cell culture supernates, serum, plasma(heparin, EDTA), saliva or urine to each empty well. It is recommended that each human Mesothelin standard solution and each sample be measured in duplicate.

Background: Mesothelin, also known as MSLN or MPF is a protein that in humans is encoded by the MSLN gene. This gene is mapped to 16p13.3. This gene encodes a precursor protein that is cleaved into two products, megakaryocyte potentiating factor and mesothelin. Megakaryocyte potentiation factor functions as a cytokine that can stimulate colony formation in bone marrow megakaryocytes. Mesothelian is a glycosylphosphatidylinositol-anchored cell-surface protein that may function as a cell adhesion protein. This protein is overexpressed in epithelial mesotheliomas, ovarian cancers and in specific squamous cell carcinomas.
