Reconstitution: Centrifuge the vial before opening. Reconstitute to a concentration of 0.1-0.5 mg/mL in sterile distilled water. Avoid votex or vigorously pipetting the protein. For long term storage, it is recommended to add a carrier protein or stablizer (e.g. 0.1 % BSA, 5 % HSA, 10 % FBS or 5 % Trehalose), and aliquot the reconstituted protein solution to minimize free-thaw cycles.

Description: The miR-137 served as a tumor suppressor in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and its suppressive effect is mediated by repressing TGFA expression. TGFA gene expression was significantly higher in tumor tissues compared to adjacent normal tissue and high TGFA gene expression strongly correlated with poor survival in patients with lung adenocarcinoma, and miR-374a suppresses lung adenocarcinoma cell proliferation and invasion via targeting TGFA gene expression.
