dexamethasone-induced DUSP1 acts via p38 MAPK (Montrer MAPK14 Anticorps) to switch on the mRNA destabilizing function of protein-tristetraprolin (Montrer ZFP36 Anticorps) to repress pro-inflammatory cytokine secretion from ASM (Montrer SMPD1 Anticorps) cells
LPS (Montrer IRF6 Anticorps) tolerance interferes with TLR4 (Montrer TLR4 Anticorps) signaling by inhibiting Lyn (Montrer LYN Anticorps) and c-Src (Montrer SRC Anticorps) phosphorylation and their recruitment to TLR4 (Montrer TLR4 Anticorps), while increasing the phosphatase activity and expression of PP2A (Montrer PPP2R4 Anticorps), PTPN22 (Montrer PTPN22 Anticorps), PTP1B (Montrer PTPN1 Anticorps) and MKP1.
This study shows that RIG-I (Montrer DDX58 Anticorps) activation results in MKP-1-mediated inhibition of cell proliferation in melanoma cells via controlling the p38 (Montrer CRK Anticorps)-HSP27 (Montrer HSPB1 Anticorps), c-Jun (Montrer JUN Anticorps) and rpS6 (Montrer RPS6 Anticorps) pathways

evidence of association between depressive symptom severity and increasing serum MKP-1 levels in women, and decreasing T levels in perimenopausal women.
MKP-1 can attenuate tamoxifen-induced cell death through inhibiting the JNK (Montrer MAPK8 Anticorps) signal pathway.
Progesterone acts via GR to drive MKP-1 expression, which in turn inhibits IL-1beta (Montrer IL1B Anticorps)-dependent c-Jun (Montrer JUN Anticorps) activation and COX-2 (Montrer COX2 Anticorps) expression.
Data show that sorafenib inhibited microRNA miR (Montrer MLXIP Anticorps)-101 expression and enhanced dual specificity phosphatase 1 (DUSP1) expression and lowered transforming growth factor beta I (TGF-beta (Montrer TGFB1 Anticorps)) release in M2 macrophage, slowing macrophage-driven hepatocarcinoma.
DUSP1 overexpression and inhibition of MAPKs prevented IL1B (Montrer IL1B Anticorps)-induced expression of ZFP36 (Montrer ZFP36 Anticorps), this was associated with increased TNF (Montrer TNF Anticorps) mRNA expression at 6 h, an effect that was predominantly due to elevated transcription.
A2AR (Montrer ADORA2A Anticorps) signaling regulates both basal and LPS (Montrer TLR4 Anticorps)-induced DUSP1 levels in macrophages via activating the adenylate cyclase pathway.

MKP-1 is the specific phosphatase induced by AngII and involved in the negative feedback mechanism ensuring adequate ERK1/2 (Montrer MAPK1/3 Anticorps)-mediated aldosterone production in response to the hormone.
The expression of DUSP1 gene is induced in human skin fibroblasts by oxidative/heat stress and growth factors. It specifies a protein with structural features similar to members of the non-receptor-type protein-tyrosine phosphatase family, and which has significant amino-acid sequence similarity to a Tyr/Ser-protein phosphatase encoded by the late gene H1 of vaccinia virus. The bacterially expressed and purified DUSP1 protein has intrinsic phosphatase activity, and specifically inactivates mitogen-activated protein (MAP) kinase in vitro by the concomitant dephosphorylation of both its phosphothreonine and phosphotyrosine residues. Furthermore, it suppresses the activation of MAP kinase by oncogenic ras in extracts of Xenopus oocytes. Thus, DUSP1 may play an important role in the human cellular response to environmental stress as well as in the negative regulation of cellular proliferation.
