This antibody recognises an extracellular region of CD79b.
Purification
Affinity Chromatography on Protein A.
Immunogène
IgM complex isolated from Jo72-1 cells which have been transfected with human m, CD79a and CD79beta. Spleen cells from immunised mouse were fused with cells of the mouse NS-1 myeloma cell line.
Flow Cytometry: 1/20, use 10 μL of the suggested working dilution to label 10^6 cells in 100 μL. Immunoprecipitation. ELISA. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.

CD79b is a cell surface antigen expressed by B lymphocytes. The CD79b molecule (also known as Ig beta and B29) associates with CD79a to form a heterodimer that is non-covalently linked to surface immunoglobulin, forming the B-cell receptor (BCR) complex.Synonyms: B-Cell marker, B-cell antigen receptor complex-associated protein beta-chain, B-cell-specific glycoprotein B29, B29, IGB, Immunoglobulin-associated B29 protein
