    C-Term

    Specificité

Recognizes human b-catenin. Species cross-reactivity: chicken, mouse, rat and Xenopus.

    Purification

    Immunoaffinity purified

    Immunogène

A 15 amino acid synthetic peptide derived from the C-terminus of the human and mouse b-catenin protein.

    Type of Immunogen: Synthetic peptide

    Isotype

    IgG
  • Indications d'application

    Approved: ELISA (0.1 - 1 μg/mL), IHC, IHC-P (2.5 μg/mL), IP, WB

Usage: Immunohistochemistry: This antibody was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in  pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for this antibody was determined to be 2.5 μg/mL. Western Blot after IP: 1-2 μg/mL. Cross-reactivity with a ~100kD protein of unknown identity is sometimes observed. Immunoprecipitation: 5-10 μg. Specifically immunoprecipitate the ~92kD b-Catenin protein from native cell lysates. Positive control: HeLa and A431 lysates.
