    Sujet
P38 gamma is a member of the MAP kinase family. MAP kinases act as an integration point for multiple biochemical signals, and are involved in a wide variety of cellular processes such as proliferation, differentiation, transcription regulation and development. Activation of members of the mitogen-activated protein kinase family is a major mechanism for transduction of extracellular signals. Stress-activated protein kinases are one subclass of MAP kinases. P38 gamma functions as a signal transducer during differentiation of myoblasts to myotubes.Synonyms: ERK5, ERK6, Extracellular signal-regulated kinase 6, MAP kinase p38 gamma, Mitogen-activated protein kinase 12, SAPK3, Stress-activated protein kinase 3, p38 gamma
