- Sujet
- Enolase-phosphatase E1, also known as ENOPH1, is a member of the MasA family of the HAD (halo-acid dehalogenase)-like hydrolase superfamily. ENOPH1 is a bifunctional enzyme, exhibiting both phosphatase and atypical enolase activities. ENOPH1 plays an important role in the ubiquitous methionine salvage pathway, a biochemical pathway found in all organisms that regulate methionine levels in the cell. Recombinant human ENOPH1 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E.coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques. Synonyms: Enolase-phosphatase E1, MASA, MST145.
