- Sujet
- Human alpha fetoprotein is an oncofetal protein of 70 kD. Its gene has been cloned and sequenced and its structure identified. AFP is expressed in fetal liver and is normally absent in healthy adult tissues. It is expressed in all yolk sac tumors, in some germ cell tumors and in hepatocellular carcinomas.Synonyms: Alpha-1-fetoprotein, Alpha-fetoglobulin, HPAFP
