    Specificité
    Recognizes an ~27kD protein, corresponding to the apparent molecular mass of Hsp27 on SDS-PAGE immunoblots. Species cross-reactivity: Human, monkey and fish (rainbow trout). It does not exhibit reactivity with rodent Hsp25, alphaA, alphaB or beta-crystallin proteins.

    Purified Hsp24 isolated from MCF-7, a human breast tumor cell line (7). Upon cloning and sequence analysis of the gene encoding the 24kD protein, nucleotide sequence comparison revealed complete identity with the small heat shock protein, Hsp27.
