    Sujet
Oxoeicosanoid receptor 1 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the OXER1 gene. This protein acts as a receptor for eicosanoids and polyunsaturated fatty acids such as 5-oxo-6E,8Z,11Z,14Z-eicosatetraenoic acid (5-OXO-ETE). It Seems to be coupled to the Gi/Go, families of heteromeric G proteins. Leukotriene and related receptors act on peroxisome-proliferating receptors (PPARs) as well as the G-protein-coupled leukotriene receptors, and are important in inflammatory signaling pathways.
