This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-MYRIP Antibody. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications.
Optimal working dilution should be determined by the investigator.

Sujet
MYRIP is a rab effector protein involved in melanosome transport. It serves as link between melanosome-bound RAB27A and the motor proteins MYO5A and MYO7A. It may link RAB27A-containing vesicles to actin filaments, functions as a protein kinase A-anchoring protein (AKAP) and may act as a scaffolding protein that links PKA to components of the exocytosis machinery, thus facilitating exocytosis, including insulin release.
