Attributs du produit
This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-P2RX4 antibody (Catalog #: ARP35512_P050). It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications.
P2RX4 is the receptor for ATP that acts as a ligand gated ion channel. This receptor is insensitive to the antagonists PPADS and suramin. The product of this gene belongs to the family of purinoceptors for ATP. This receptor functions as a ligand-gated ion channel with high calcium permeability. The main pharmacological distinction between the members of the purinoceptor family is the relative sensitivity to the antagonists suramin and PPADS. The product of this gene has the lowest sensitivity for these antagonists. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants have been identified for this gene although their full-length natures have not been determined.
