    Sujet
Homer protein homolog 2, also known as HOMER2, is a member of the homer family of dendritic proteins. Homer family proteins are immediate early gene products that bind to group 1 metabotropic glutamate receptors (mGluRs), proteins involved in triggering intracellular calcium release. HOMER2 have also been shown to link mGluRs with the inositol triphosphate receptors (IP3R). Recombinant human HOMER2 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E.coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
