- Sujet
- Uridine diphosphate glucose pyrophosphatase, also known as NUDT14, is a 222 amino acid cytoplasmic protein that contains one nudix hydrolase domain and belongs to the nudix hydrolase family. NUDT14 hydrolyzes ADP-ribose into ribose 5-phosphate and AMP, and UDP-glucose to glucose 1-phosphate and UMP. Existing as a homodimer, NUDT14 binds magnesium as a cofactor and is encoded by a gene located on human chromosome 14. Recombinant human NUDT14 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E.coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
