Recombinant Human Serpin A8/Angiotensinogen/ AGT is produced by our mammalian expression system in human cells. The target protein is expressed with sequence (Asp34-Ala485) of Human AGT fused with a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.

Sujet
Angiotensinogen is involved in maintaining blood pressure and in the pathogenesis of essential hypertension and preeclampsia. Genetic variations in Angiotensinogen are associated with susceptibility to essential hypertension, and can cause renal tubular dysgenesis, a severe disorder of renal tubular development. Defects in the encoding gene have also been associated with non-familial structural atrial fibrillation, and inflammatory bowel disease. Alternative Names: Angiotensinogen, also called Serpin A8, AGT and SERPINA8, is expressed by the liver and secreted in plasma. Angiotensinogen is a member of the serpin family.
