that SRSF3 controls the expression of the miR (Montrer MLXIP Kits ELISA)-132/212 cluster through regulating REST expression
Alternative splicing of U2AF1 (Montrer U2AF1 Kits ELISA) reveals a shared repression mechanism for duplicated exons controlled by SRF3.
Introduction of point mutations in the SRSF3-binding site or knockdown of SRSF3 expression in cells reduces human papillomavirus 18 929;3434 splicing and E1;E4 production but activates other, minor 929;3465 and 929;3506 splicing. Knockdown of SRSF3 expression also enhances the expression of E2 and L1 mRNAs.
data indicate that the Human Papillomavirus E2 protein (Montrer UBE2B Kits ELISA) links (Montrer CCDC40 Kits ELISA) the viral replication cycle to epithelial differentiation via SRSF3, a key cellular regulator of high-risk (HR)-HPV gene expression
Results suggested that SRSF3 is associated with the initiation and development of OSCC and may be a biomarker and therapeutic target of OSCC.
we also demonstrated frequent co-overexpression and positive correlation of DARPP-32 (Montrer PPP1R1B Kits ELISA), SRp20 and CD44E expression levels in human gastric primary tumors.
PTBP1 (Montrer PTBP1 Kits ELISA) and PTBP2 (Montrer PTBP2 Kits ELISA) impaired autoregulation of SRSF3 in oral squamous cell carcinoma cancer cells.
Results show that YTHDC1 promotes exon inclusion in targeted mRNAs through recruiting pre-mRNA splicing factor SRSF3 while blocking SRSF10 mRNA binding.
These data indicate that SRSF3 affects a global change of gene expression to maintain cell homeostasis.
We propose that SRSF3 could act as a coordinator of the expression of PDCD4 (Montrer PDCD4 Kits ELISA) protein via two mechanisms on two alternatively spliced mRNA isoforms.
Data liver/mammary gland expressing Srsf3 siRNA displayed a suppressed level of Srsf3 protein, but not the mRNA.
This study provides the first evidence for a SRSF3-driven genetic programme required for morphological and functional differentiation of hepatocytes that may have relevance for human liver disease and metabolic dysregulation.
Serine arginine splicing factor (Montrer SLU7 Kits ELISA) 3 is involved in enhanced splicing of glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase (Montrer G6PD Kits ELISA) RNA in response to nutrients and hormones in liver
SRSF3 and SRSF4 (Montrer SRSF4 Kits ELISA) proteins bind to the 3' ends of the majority of intronless histone transcripts, implicating SRSF3 and SRSF4 (Montrer SRSF4 Kits ELISA) in histone mRNA metabolism.
Results suggest that increased SRp20 expression in tumor cells is a critical step for tumor initiation, progression, and maintenance.
mRNA targets of SRp20 and SRp75 were identified in cycling and neurally induced P19 cells.
Hippocampal mRNA expression of Srp20 is up-regulated only in males during contextual fear memory formation as a specific result of the context/tone-shock association. Changes in expression during LTM formation regulate alternative splicing.
The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the serine/arginine (SR)-rich family of pre-mRNA splicing factors, which constitute part of the spliceosome. Each of these factors contains an RNA recognition motif (RRM) for binding RNA and an RS domain for binding other proteins. The RS domain is rich in serine and arginine residues and facilitates interaction between different SR splicing factors. In addition to being critical for mRNA splicing, the SR proteins have also been shown to be involved in mRNA export from the nucleus and in translation. Two transcript variants, one protein-coding and the other non-coding, have been found for this gene.
