L’anticorps anti-c-MYC Polyclonal Lapin est utilisé pour la détection de c-MYC dans des échantillons de Humain, Souris et Rat. Il a été validé pour IF.
The antibody detects endogenous level of Myc only when phosphorylated at serine 62.
Purification
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography usingepitope-specific phosphopeptide. The antibody against non-phosphopeptide was removedby chromatography using non-phosphopeptide corresponding to the phosphorylation site.
Immunogène
Peptide sequence around phosphorylation site of pSer62 (P-L-S (p) -P-S) derived from Human Myc. Antibodies were produced by immunizing rabbits with synthetic phosphopeptide and KLH conjugates.

Sujet
Participates in the regulation of gene transcription. Binds DNA in a non-specific manner, yet also specifically recognizes the core sequence 5'-CAC[GA]TG-3'. Seems to activate the transcription of growth-related genes.
