  • Indications d'application
Peptide ELISA: Antibody Detection Limit Dilution: 1/16000. Western blot: Preliminary experiments gave an approx.55-60 kDa band in Human Muscleand Heart lysates at 1 μg/mL. Further, this band was successfully blocked byincubation with the immunising peptide. Please note that currently we cannot find anexplanation in the literature for the band we observe given the predicted size of approx.31.0 kDa according to Human NP_002439.2. Immunohistochemistry: 2-4 μg/mL. In paraffin embedded Human Prostate shows staining of nucleoli in a few epithelial cells.
    Other applications not tested.
Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.

    Sujet
MSX1 is a transcriptional repressor that belongs to the Msh homeobox family. It plays a role in cranofacial development, specifically in odontogenesis. A Sonic hedgehog-controlled cascade that includes MSX1 acts in parallel with the Wnt1 network to establish the midbrain dopaminergic progenitor domain, which gives rise to a neuronal population that is critical for normal function of the human brain and is involved in a number of neurological and psychiatric diseases, such as Parkinson's disease.Synonyms: HOX7, Homeobox protein Hox-7, Homeobox protein MSX-1, Hox-7, MSX-1, Msh homeobox 1-like protein
