- TRIB-3 is expressed in various tissues with high levels in liver, pancreas, peripheral blood leukocytes and bone marrow but also in primary lung, colon and breast cancer. It is a negative regulator of NF-kappaB and can sensitize cells to apoptosis induced by TNF or TRAIL.
