Background: Mediates cAMP-dependent signaling triggered by receptor binding to GPCRs. Regulates the abundance of compartmentalized pools of its regulatory subunits through phosphorylation of PJA2 which binds and ubiquitinates these subunits, leading to their subsequent proteolysis.
