Peptide ELISA: Limit dilution 1: 32000. Western blot: 1-3 μg/mL. Approx 50 kDa band observed in Human Kidney lysates (calculatedMW of 39.3 acording to NP_009181.2). In glioblastomas this protein was reported to run atappr.60 kDa (Ding et al . J Biol Chem.2005 Feb 25,280(8): 6802-15, PMID: 15557280).

KLF8 is a transcriptional repressor and activator. It also binds the GT-box of cyclin D1 promoter and mediates cell cycle progression at G(1) phase as a downstream target of focal adhesion kinase (FAK).
