Sujet: TPP1 (Tripeptidyl peptidase I) is a lysosomal serine protease which cleaves N-terminal tripeptides from substrates. It requires substrates with an unsubstituted N-terminus. TPP1 may act as a non-specific lysosomal peptidase generating tripeptides from the breakdown products produced by lysosomal proteinases.
