    Sujet
GRP94 (94 kDa glucose-regulated protein) is a 92 kDa protein belonging to the heat shock protein 90 family of molecular chaperones. GRP94 is mainly involved in protein folding, stabilization and refolding of denatured proteins. GRP94 has also been reported to trigger CTL expansion and maturation of human monocytes-derived dendritic cells (MDDC). GRP94 is also involved in inducing tumor and is used as a potential marker in breast cancer. GRP94 is localized in endoplasmic reticulum lumen and melanosome. GRP94 is highly expressed in melanoma or liver metastases of colon carcinoma cells and human gastric carcinoma.
